What is the
SFG Blank Book Project?

The SFG Blank Book Project is a traveling sketchbook created collaboratively by Jeff Andrews and Steph Doyle.

For approximately 500 days, the sketchbook will travel from Washington DC to 50 illustrators around the world. Once the book arrives, each illustrator has 7 days to complete a sketch and send the book on to the next illustrator. The book will reach its final destination approximately mid-December, 2008.

The theme for this inaugural book is, "Where I Live." We hope to launch a second book project at the begining of the new year

Michelle "Milo" White - SF Goodness

This post has been a long-time coming. After a quick reminder from Jeff, I hopped to and posted the recent participants teaser shot. Sorry for overlooking this post. So without any further foot-dragging, I present Michelle White!

Michele writes:

Here's my little blurb about SF...

The financial district is built on the remains of ships abandoned during the gold rush...
We shake from quakes and our summers are chilly.
The city rests on steep hills and skies are foggy
Tourists fill union square and fisherman's wharf

The mission has hipsters, great bars and bike shops
There are more dogs than kids
Plenty of dog parks and beach sand
We have surfers and sea lions
Savory ice cream and tequila bars

Panhandlers and lots of nonprofits
We're a diverse population on the left coast
I love this city.

The book has left Michelle's hands and has been forwarded to Alberto Cerriteño.
